CAMPUS FACILITIES
Library
The junior college library is a learning environment promoting the pursuit of knowledge and also offering support for student-centered research. Students borrow books for two weeks and there is no limit on the number of borrowed items. The library owns approximately 125,000 books and is adding 2,500 more books annually. The library carries not only scholastic books, but also magazines and AV resources such as CDs and DVDs. Our library is open to the community.
Internet Facilities
High-speed Internet service is provided on campus. Three computer labs are used for both classroom instruction and individual learning projects. College e-mail accounts are provided to all students.
Student Lounge (Cafeteria)
The student lounge (cafeteria) offers comfortable areas to meet with friends, to eat lunch, to study, or just to relax. The cafeteria provides a variety of delicious food, and breads are baked in the cafeteria kitchen everyday.
Piano Room
The piano room is available to students who are taking music classes. Other students can use the room when the schedule allows.
School Infirmary
The school infirmary is open every schoolday.The nurse takes care of minor illnesses or injuries. Health consultation is offered and a physical check-up is held once a year for all students.
Counseling Room
A counseling room makes counseling for every kind of personal concern available to students on a daily basis.
Tenshien Kindergarten
A small kindergarten is attached to the junior college. Based on Christian education, forty children are taken care of by four teachers. The kindergarten also provides opportunities to students who major in early childhood education to learn more about children and childcare.
Research Center for Infants and Young Children
The research center is open to the community and gives advice on childcare. A public lecture is held on Saturdays for parents with infants.
Center for International Programs
This center was established in May, 2004 and provides a range of services and international exchanges.The center organizes spring and summer intensive English programs overseas, international exchange camps in Asia, and the reception of overseas students and guests.
