DS Holography from DS-SYK |
|---|
| 概要 |
In this talk, we explore the intriguing holographic duality between the double-scaled SYK model (DSSYK)
and quantum gravity in higher-dimensional de Sitter (dS) spacetime, in the classical limit. We construct
physical observables along worldlines of observers in dS using the operators in the DSSYK model. Remarkably,
they describe the “bulk” dS spacetime backreacted by the presence of the observer. At the operator level,
I will examine the underlying reasons for the correspondence between worldline observables and bulk QFT operators
in dS spacetime. Finally, I will discuss the connection between the conventional dS/CFT approach, which presupposes
quantum systems on the infinite past (future), and this novel dS holography based on the observer’s worldlines.

Gravitational waves provide a powerful probe of strong gravitational fields, offering unique insights
into the nature of spacetime. In this talk, I will focus on two key phenomena that reveal imprints of
strong gravity: the ringdown and the gravitational lensing of gravitational waves. I will present recent
developments in these areas and discuss how they deepen our understanding of strong gravitational fields.
